About Fairy Tail Rattery

Happy Holidays !!

Hi everyone. My name is Kellie Thompson. I live in the High Desert of sunny California. In the city of Hesperia.

I have been breeding rats only as a hobby since 1993. I spend a lot of time playing and talking to the babies from birth to ensure that when you take your new rat home that he or she is very well socialized and happy.

I only adopt out in same sex pairs unless you have a buddy at home. Rats are very social and need another rat to sleep, play and cuddle with. So for this reason I do not adopt out single rats.

I only use non-toxic litter such as Aspen or Carefresh. Most popular litters like pine and cedar are extremely toxic and can cause chronic respiratory problems, liver damage, and decreased immune response.

I also ask that if the rat is injured or sick that it be seen by a vet.

Rats make great pets and just like any other pet they need attention and love too. I feel that if a rat is going to a child or even a teen, the parent needs to monitor the care and well-being of the rats. Such as being taken out and played with every day, fresh water, food, clean litter, and veterinary care if needed.

I strongly recommend wire made cages over aquariums for living space. Aquariums are poorly ventilated and most are not very spaciuos. My rats enjoy running up and down the ramps wich provides exercise and keeps them from getting bored. I also use hammocks in my cages for a place for them to sleep and cuddle.

If you would like to adopt a rat from me I ask that you can provide these things:

1. non-toxic litter
2. veterinary care when needed

Also remember that I do not sell single rats if you dont have a buddy at home. I love all my rats and want them to have they best. They desreve it.

If you have ANY questions please feel free to e-mail me.
